2025 - International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP) Sigel Award
I was awarded the prestigious Roberta Sigel Award for best paper lead by an early career scholar in Political Psychology in the last year for this paper.
2025 - UCD Research Culture ReCLAIM Award: Interdisciplinary Writing Solidarity Group.
Alongside colleagues Glen Jankowski, Pat Mulvaney and Laura Foley, I secured almost €15,000 in funding to establish the Interdisciplinary Writing Solidarity Group. With this funding, we will run 11 writing retreats for UCD researchers, 3 workshops highlighting & addressing barriers to career progression, especially for women and racialised academics, and a mixed-methods evaluation.
2024 - European Association for Research on Adolescence (EARA) Emerging Scholar Spotlight
I was selected for the EARA Emerging Scholar Spotlight in November 2024 for my article, "Supraordinate identity integration in childhood: Intergroup implications of ethno-national and supraordinate identification in three divided societies." You can read more about this here.
2023 - Taighde Éireann - Research Ireland Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship
I was awarded a grant of €123,000 to support my PhD research, entitled "European and National Identities in Ireland: Implications for Children's Social Inclusion." You can read more about my PhD research here.
